Some General Notes

As of 1885-06, the N (NH) cars are listed as the "Northern Division" in the "Boston & Lowell RR" listing
As of 1887-08, the Northern (NH) cars are listed as as a separate railroad.
As of 1890-08, the N (NH) cars are listed in the "Northern RR (NH) Division" table of Boston & Maine RR listing
As of 1890-11, this changed to "Concord Division" table of Boston & Maine RR listing
In 1892-07, the "Concord Division" table disappeared, the cars were listed in the "main" B&M freight equipment table, noted as being marked "N (NH)" (or B&L)
In 1893-11, the cars were listed in the "Freight Equipment in old series" table of Boston & Maine RR listing, noted as being marked "N (NH)" (or B&L)

The Northern Division of the Boston & Lowell RR was formerly known as the Northern RR of Ne Hampshire. A number of northern RR cars have not been re-lettered and re-numbered. The milage of any cares marked Northern R.R., Northern (NH) Railroad, N.R.R, C&C R.R., or Concord and Claremont R.R. should be included in the Northern Division of the Boston & Lowell RR.
